Manchester City has the highest average player value (APV) index in the English Premier League, but only the 6th highest in Europe


Key Soccerlytics Insights:

  • Man City has the highest APV in the English Premier League, at 19.7M Euros, which is 168% higher than the premier league APV of 7.35M Euros
    • Man City's 168% APV index is 6th highest in Europe behind PSG, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Juventus
  • Chelsea (18.4M Euro APV) has the 2nd highest APV index at 150% to the EPL's 7.35M Euro APV
  • 4 other clubs (Man U, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool) make up the 6 premier league clubs whose APV is higher than the league's APV (See chart below)
  • Newcastle's APV is closest to the EPL's average at 6.9M Euros, 6% below the average
  • Crystal Palace has the lowest APV in the Premier League at 1.9M Euros 74% below the league's average
