World Cup Group D Analysis of Squad Transfer Market Valuations

  • In Group D, England marginally has the highest total transfer market value (TMV) of 334M Euros and an average player value (APV) of 14.52M Euros
    • England's APV is about 48% higher than the 9.83M Euro APV of the group
    • Wayne Rooney (45M Euros, Man United), Jack Wilshere (33M Euros, Arsenal) and Leighton Baines (20M Euros, Everton) / Daniel Sturridge (20M Euros, Liverpool) have the highest TMVs in the squad
    • Only 26 year old Celtic goal keeper Fraser Foster plies hid trade outside of the English Premier League
