Real Madrid and Barcelona have the highest average player value (APV) Index in Spain's La Liga: Not the highest APV Index in Europe's top 5 leagues


Key Soccerlytics Insights:

  • Real Madrid (25.4M Euro APV) and Barcelona (23.3M Euro APV) have the highest average player values in La Liga with APV indices respectively at 379% and 340% to the league's APV of 5.3M Euros
    • Even though PSG's absolute APV is  significantly lower at 15.7M, PSG has a higher APV index at 44.4%
  • Atletico Madrid (11.1M Euro APV) and Valencia (6.5M Euro APV) are the only two other La Liga clubs with an above average APV  with 109% and 23% indices respectively
  • Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao are closest to the La Liga APV of 5.3M Euros at 5.35M (1% higher) and 5.24M (1% lower) Euro APV's respectively
  • Almeria has the lowest APV in La Liga at 1.35M Euros, 74% below La Liga's average
